CURRENT HOME DECOR BEST SELLERS:
Hi beauties!
Coming at you with another Joanna Gaines post because you all know how much I love Fixer Upper!.. even though the show is officially over 🙁 SO SAD. Anyways, I decided to do another round up post of her work because you all LOVED my last one on her 15 best kitchens!
I absolutely love her style. I love the warmth of the country rustic feel mixed with modern and functionality ... if that makes any sense haha
It terms of our house and renovations... we are still working on our basement which is TAKING FOR EVER! It's hard for us to get renovations done in our house because Dylan wants to do everything himself. He is a carpenter by trade and knows what he is doing, he has a hard time trusting anyone else to work on our house... but he literally never has any time to work on things because we have been so busy. But he is picking away at it and I am helping where I can! Im really good with a paint brush so that is where I will shine 😉
I really want to make our basement rustic with some modern features. Because this isn't our forever home, we want to make sure we choose colours and details that appeal to every buyer in our area so we can't always choose things we want.
Our biggest debate on our basement right now is if we are going to put in a pellet stove or an electric fireplace. I know an electric fireplace would be cosmetically appealing to everyone but Dylan really wants a pellet stove.. so we will see!
ANYWAYS I HIT PINTEREST FOR THE BEST LIVING ROOMS BY JOANNA GAINES. AND HERE ARE THE ONES I HAVE FOUND:
Loving these chairs, they really look antique but are new and fresh! You can buy similar chairs here at Pottery Barn! I also am obsessed with the hints of blue from this beautiful rug. It brings the cool tones in with the warmth from the chairs!
Again with the perfect blue rug to bring in cool tones in a warm space. I also love the look of this faux fireplace. It really adds a grounding focal point to this room.
Obsessed with this look too. Get a similar fig tree here. Buy this blue couch in basically any colour here. And you can find other rustic coffee tables here.
This solid wood coffee table really makes the space here! I also find that round coffee tables are amazing if you have babies and toddlers. You don't have to worry about them hurting themselves on sharp corners! But if you have your heart set on a solid square wood coffee table, check out that link.

You seriously can not go wrong with a linen square arm lounge chair like this in your living room space! Buy it here. Similar chandelier here
I am starting to see a trend with these blue rugs! You can buy some faux birch logs here! I love the bold accents in this room while still keeping everything quite neutral!
Leather can bring any feminine space down a notch, while keeping it chic and bright.

I love the use of the wood logs in the space. I actually did an entire post on how to store your wood logs in creative and stylish ways! Make sure you check it out 🙂

I love these inspo pictures! I am about to redo my kitchen cabinets and modernize it and want to start thinking of how I'm going to do the living room as well, it's an open floor plan and I can't leave the living room the way it is. I want to do a solid wood coffee table and incorporate more plants for sure. Thanks for the post!

It would be good to have a real wood stove in case the electricity goes off for any length of time. I loved my Vermont Casting stove. Your ideas are so beautiful! Thanks for sharing them!

"These inspiration pics are amazing! They've definitely got me inspired for my kitchen remodel. Since it's an open floor plan, I'm already brainstorming how to update the living room to flow seamlessly. A solid wood coffee table and more plants sound like a great start! Thanks for sharing such fantastic inspiration!
