I have two car and always bring my cars to midas

They ended up finding out my caliper was broken and so they tried to find the cheapest part for me. Ended up not but informed me of prices, helped me as much with discounts they can.

The staff is knowledgeable, the works is completely timely and to my satisfaction.

Techs noted that my transmission is mid-shifting which is a major problem. They recommended I may want to hold off on a brake job and decide if I was keeping the car or trading it in. I appreciate their honesty and concern.

They checked every thing in the car pretty much In the old days that did not happen.

I was quoted $750.00 for two rear break lines for a 2nd gen Tacoma. That alone is outrageous but I was two states from home broken down and had to get back to work so I had no choice. When I picked up the vehicle the bill was $872.15 including tax. I appreciate they got me in quick but I will not be going back to Midas.

Price quoted originally was 400-500 dollars. When I was called about the service the price became $640. Also a related Service was not planned in my budget, but I agreed to it. My choice , of course, but I should have been told about it in advance.

Because I was expecting to have my tires rotated and was told only if I requested it or the technician deemed it necessary which was not communicated to me. Then the technician wrote that he suggests that I have the tires rotated for just the labor charge.

Steve and Jay are the best in the business. The techs are amazing and that all reflects off of their leaders. I will continue to trust in there honesty and knowledge of my safety and maintenence of my vehicle! These guys are awesome!

The entire process went smoothly and Steve, the man at the desk, gave me good advice and repaired a lug nut problem I had long forgotten about. My rear brakes work great and when the time comes ( which may be sooner than Steve recommended )I intend to replace the front pads.

On my prior visit, I was sold 4 new tires. This visit, when I brought in my Rav4 for service the tires weren't going to be rotated (for some unknown reason??) until I asked the service writer about rotating them. Unless driving protocol has changed in the nearly 60 years I've been driving, you ALWAYS rotate tires (especially brand new ones) so that you even out the wear on the set. It was a B.S. answer not to rotate which now makes me question any and every recommendation they have made regarding "up sales" of additional services, fluids, flushes, filters, etc. I don't think that's the best message to have your customers drive away with after service.

List prices on your website of how much you charge. I paid 89.75 for an oil change the most I have ever spent on an oil change.

Steve was great and the deals were fair as well as the timeliness & ease of filling out the Midas credit card with zero interest.

I called in with a blown front tire. Asked how soon I could come in. Steve said come now if it’s good for me. I drove over and the put my car in lift, checked my tires for size, explained why I really need 4 not 2. My tires were on sale but 3 get 4th free. Steve had 2 men work on my car since I was going to wait. Steve showed me two parts of the u set carriage that needed monitoring. I was in and out in less than an hour. Excellent service! A friend of mine raved about the Hazlet location. I called first thing in the morning on Saturday 6/4 to see if they had my tires in stock. Not only did they have them, but they were able to get me in right away in between appointments. The staff is so friendly! Will definitely be returning and recommending this location.

Quick and courteous

Had to return my 2 cars to get work done again. 1 car check engine light came back on after 3 weeks and 1 car had tpms light fixed there and after 2 days tpms light came back on. So we will see how the problem resolves itself and see if they take care of the 2 problems. John Zembricki

I've had just two vehicles that this Midas shop worked on for me. A 1988 Chysler La Baron, and this 2001 Dodge Caraxan. All emplyees at this location are the best, and I keep going back there for servicing the Dodge van. The 1988 lasted 30 years.
