Tendered to in Fedex has the same meaning as tendered to in DHL- your package has been dropped off to the last partner for final delivery. FedEx has passed your parcel on to USPS, and it is on its way to your local post office, where it will be scanned and delivered to your doorstep.
Check the shipping label: The sender's name and address are usually listed on the shipping label attached to the package. Take a look at the label to find this information [1].
All you need to locate your FedEx package is a tracking number or a reference number. You can also track by using a FedEx Office order number or the number found on your door tag. To see where your package is, use one of the options below: Visit fedex.com and track your shipment online.
The recipient has the option to authorize the shipment to be released without anyone present. This change can be requested for FedEx Express packages through FedEx Delivery Manager® or by signing a FedEx door tag.
When you receive this notification, it means that UPS handed off the package to the last-mile carrier. Once the package is received, it will then be delivered to the customer within 2-5 days.
When a shipment is tendered to FedEx Express, it means that the package has been received by FedEx Express for delivery. This marks the beginning of FedEx's process to transport the package to its final destination.
If you see “Tendered for Delivery” pop up in your tracking information it essentially means that your package has been moved from the FedEx, UPS, or DHL system to the USPS and they are going to be responsible for taking it the rest of the way.
Contact the Shipping Carrier: You can contact the shipping carrier (such as UPS, FedEx, or USPS) and provide them with the tracking number. They may be able to provide you with the name and contact information of the sender. Hopefully there'll be an indication on the package as to where it came from when it arrives.
Go to FedEx Tracking, enter your 12-digit tracking number and click "Track". Click “OBTAIN PROOF OF DELIVERY”, enter the 9-digit shipper or payer FedEx account number associated with the shipment, then “view PDF”.
A photo of the delivered goods also alerts the customer that a delivery has been made, and they can have physical cite and expectation of where to find this parcel.
Go to the Tracking tool and enter your tracking number – in the tool you'll see the delivery address and signature details of your package. If you need more information, please call FedEx Customer Service.
FedEx considers the security of your shipment information a top priority; therefore, registration is required for visibility to shipment information. After you register, you can get real-time status of your shipments inbound, outbound and third party without tracking numbers or reference numbers.
Use your tracking, door tag, or FedEx Office order number to track your package. If you don't have one of those numbers, you can use a reference number related to your package or freight shipment, or any purchase order number. When you track your package, you'll see your estimated delivery time with a 4-hour window.
You can choose from thousands of FedEx Office, FedEx Ship Center®, FedEx Authorized ShipCenter®, FedEx® Drop Box,* Walgreens, Dollar General and grocery locations nationwide. Some are even open 24 hours.
What is Electronic Export Information (EEI)? EEI is the data that must be filed through the Automated Export System (AES) for goods shipped from the U.S. to a foreign country. The filing includes information about the sender and receiver of the goods, and about the goods being exported.
FedEx Ground® is a shipping service for packages under 150 lbs. It delivers to businesses and is faster to more locations than UPS Ground. Your FedEx Ground shipment must be less than 108" in length and 165" in length plus girth (L+2H+2W). FedEx Freight® is for shipments over 150 lbs.
